Katitjiny – week 6 24.08.2020

Week 6 – beginning Monday, 24 August

Book Week Parade

Our annual Book Week Parade will take place from 8.45am to 9.15am in the quadrangle. We encourage family members to attend but ask you all to please remember to follow the Phase 4 requirements:

  • Please avoid unnecessary physical contact with other adults such as physical greetings
  • Keep 1.5 metres from other adults
  • Do not attend the parade if you are unwell
Faction Carnival

This will be taking place next Friday, 4 September with the jumps, throws and 400m taking place on Tuesday, 1 September. There will be a few changes to the format of the events and to the areas we ask parents to sit. The building site is taking up space usually used for the event so we have had to be a little creative. We hope these changes do not cause too much inconvenience.

We encourage you to come along to both events to watch your children compete. We ask you to please remember to follow the same Phase 4 requirements listed above.

There will be a coffee van on site on the Friday, and more information will be made available in the coming week regarding food orders.

Treats for Dads – a P&C Father’s Day Fundraiser

The P&C are arranging a selection of home-made goodies just in time for Father’s Day.  Ordering is via the QuickCliq app – https://www.quickcliq.com.au/ –  or you can collect a paper order form from the school office.

But hurry!  Orders close this Thursday 27th August.
