Greenbatch is working towards building WA’s first plastic recycling facility. There are currently no plastic recycling facilities in WA. Every time you put a plastic bottle in your recycling bin it is sold to the global waste market and shipped overseas!
How can you help?
- Use a reusable water bottle
- Rinse out and then send PET or HDPE plastic bottles or jars (numbered 1 or 2) and aluminium cans to your class for collection, or deposit them into the Greenbatch bin located on the verandah just outside the office.
