Event Details
As part of our History Program, the Years 4 and 5 from Rooms 4 and 5 will be visiting Fremantle Prison. Students will explore aspects of penal life and discover the importance of Fremantle during colonial times. They will participate in rotational activities which will help them understand the impacts of Fremantle and the prison, on the greater Swan River settlement. We will conclude our experience with lunch at the Fremantle Esplanade Park.
Details are as follows:
Date: Thursday 12th December 2019, (Week 9).
Time: Depart Millen at 9:45am and return at approximately 1:30pm.
Cost: $14.00 per student
What to wear: Students are required to wear their correct school uniform (NOT Faction shirts) and enclosed shoes.
Bring: * a drink bottle; * food for recess and lunch in small, labelled plastic bags; * hat and sun protection
